While staying in Sant’Agnello I took the sometimes harrowing bus ride down the coast to Amalfi.  My goodness…… the views were breathtaking and so was the ride!  Narrow winding roads with plenty of switch backs.  Lots of traffic and bus drivers who were quite comfortable with only a 3-4 inch spacebetween them and other vehicles and/or walls.  As we passed Positano, I decided to stay on until we reached Amalfi.  The town was probably quaint and quiet when tour busses and cruise ships weren’t unloading untold numbers of us onto its narrow roads.   I braved the crowds and wandered around aimlessly, enjoying both the weather and views.  Due to large number of tour busses, I had difficulty finding a proper stop to catch my bus back towards Sorrento, so as we passed Positano on the way back home I opt to skip it and just ride back up the coast.  I enjoyed the day, but was glad to be back on solid ground once again in peaceful Sant’Agnello.
